1541 Steel
1541 Steel
1541 steel is a medium carbon grade of steel that is traditionally used in anchor and U bolts, clamps, and construction applications like girders, piston rods, and tools. Adding Vanadium to the 15xx micro-alloys (as in 15V41) can increase strength, reduce weight, and improve ductility and toughness.
